Went to primary & comprehensive school in the Gower Peninsula, S Wales. Wonderful to be within walking distance of the beach!
Moved up to Surrey for A levels, then to Oxford for a year to study for Bsc in physics. But decided to call a tutor in Manchester a few days before 2nd year started on the offchance.. and they said yes! - wanted something different!
Manchester in the late '80s was a happening place. Remember OPSA/Owens & the Bop(fellow committee members get in touch!) Park & all the gigs? Do the lifts still break down? All the city nightlife, the Hacienda. Cool. And got a decent degree too (Physics & Computer Science)
*NEWS* Owens Park Tower looks like it is to be demolished in 2003, possibly the entire site, after 40 years..
Now Married to Katy with 2 wonderful children, Thomas (15), Chloe (13). Have been working for 19 years for IBM in Hampshire as a Software Engineer working with Voice/Telephony systems for many years, and more recently in the area of "Master Data Management".
